Marykate (MK) Oakley, PhD

Located in Lebanon, NH, Dr. Oakley is licensed to practice in Vermont, New Hampshire, and any PSYPACT participating state.

Dr. Oakley is a clinical psychologist licensed to practice in New Hampshire and Vermont with an office located in Lebanon, NH. She is also authorized to practice virtually in any PSYPACT participating state. Dr. Oakley provides evidence-based psychotherapy and psychological assessment to children, adolescents, and adults. She has extensive training in multiple evidence-based treatment modalities and has worked in outpatient, inpatient, academic, and medical settings.

Dr. Oakley believes deeply in the therapeutic relationship as a vehicle for change, and she is committed to creating a space where her patients feel genuinely safe and seen.

Dr. Oakley takes an integrative, person-centered approach to treatment, drawing on attachment theory, developmental frameworks, and trauma-informed care. She is trained in a range of evidence-based modalities — including CBT, DBT, ACT, TF-CBT, and EMDR — and tailors treatment to each patient’s unique needs and goals.

Dr. Oakley specializes in working with patients navigating trauma, low-self esteem, executive dysfunction, and mood-related disorders. She has expertise working with LGBTQ+ individuals, including providing gender-affirming care and evaluations.

When not in the office, Dr. Oakley loves hockey, golf, and crossword puzzles. She is a  former Division-1 ice hockey player and published poet who enjoys nature, traveling, and learning new things.
